Coming Up - November 07
Oct 11
There’s a few things coming up on the Ozgreens horizon:
- Most importantly: There are some fine sounding beans heading our way:
- Currently tasting a very promising organic Honduran coffee full of caramel and chocolate.
- Arriving soon, a most interesting sounding Rwanda Bourbon AA described as having “excellent, rounded body, with quite exceptional sweetness”
- Still some Mexican SHG Organic Estate ‘El Olivo’ to try. This is described as: “100% sundried, 100% Typica variety. A complex, mellow/balanced coffee with medium acidity and mild finish.”
- Improvements to the bean offer system. We are currently testing out what is really modified shopping cart software to replace our current member database and bean offer software. This will allow much more streamlined operation of the bean offers.
- It will use an interface similar to many online shopping systems, and will therefore feel familiar to many of you.
- It will calculate freight options automatically and offer you a choice (where appropriate) with the exact shipping price.
- It will also offer payment by credit card through two well-regarded payment gateways: Paymate and Paypal You do not have to be registered with either organisation to use them, however, please note that the costs of these transactions will be passed on to members using the service.
- The system will also generate an invoice on the spot for those who choose to stay with the direct deposit system. No more waiting for a manually generated invoice!
- Members will have complete control over their data, able to update and change all information.
- The downside? Everyone will have to enter their details again. It’s simply too complex to create a script to import the existing information.
We hope to have it all up and running for the next bean offer, so stay tuned…
